Bank of China Mexico is looking for its Credit Risk Analyst/Coordinator
Position/Job Purpose
- A key financial role responsible for protecting an institution's profitability. This role assesses the likelihood of default by borrowers or debt issuers, develops lending policies, and maintains a healthy and balanced loan portfolio.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Credit portfolio rating: proven track record in portfolio classification and reserve calculation for commercial loans.
- Expert knowledge and hands on experience with the CUB and standard methodologies for expected loss calculation.
- Regulatory reporting with advanced understanding of CNBV regulatory reports serie R04 C and R04 A and financial reporting standards (IFRS9)
- Strong knowledge of Large Exposures policies and hands on the process of identification, monitoring and calculation.
- Stress testing: experience designing, running,
and interpreting stress testing scenarios under CNBV guidelines for credit risk and concentration risk.
- Strong Excel skills (short test will be prepared)
- Prepare presentation to Risk Committee
- Assess the impact of new products
- Interaction with internal, external auditors as well Banxico and CNBV
- Support Capital Adequacy Stress Test (ESC) in terms of credit risk assumptions
- Detail oriented
- Problem solving
- Language: English - advanced
Experience and Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in economic and administrative sciences
- 1-3 years' Experience in financial institutions
- Major: Economic, Finance, Mathematics
