JOB DETAILS:

Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Costa Rica, Mexico- Remote position

Duration: 1 Years Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

Mandate skill: Snowflake, Python and Cortex

-Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python

-Build scalable data ingestion and transformation frameworks

-Develop and maintain data models in
Snowflake

-Work on data integration, transformation, and validation processes

-Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BI, QA, and DevOps

-Support data platform enhancements and performance tuning





-Work with Cortex for data processing, orchestration, or analytics use cases

-Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues

Primary Skill Set:

-Strong hands-on experience in
Python

-Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, performance tuning)

-Strong experience in ETL development and orchestration tools (Airflow or similar – --preferred)

-Hands-on experience with Snowflake

-Hands-on working experience in
Cortex

-Understanding of data workflows and processing within Cortex

-Ability to integrate Cortex with Snowflake or other data platforms

-AWS / Azure / GCP (experience with data services is an added advantage)
