What you will do
- Lead structural design and analysis for mid- and high-rise residential projects, including gravity and lateral systems and foundations, in concrete, steel, or timber depending on the project.
- Own each project’s technical delivery end-to-end, ensuring the full set of construction documents is accurate, coordinated, and ready for the contractor.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers on larger projects: distribute tasks,



review their work, and ensure quality control (QC) across the team’s output.
- Act as the external-facing point of contact for structural matters, running and participating in coordination meetings with architects, MEP engineers, and civil engineers.
- Balance hands-on technical work (modeling, design, QC) with the oversight needed to keep your team moving and unblocked.
- Support proposal assembly and client coordination as needed.

What you'll need to know
- 9+ years of proven experience in structural engineering, including exposure to U.S. building codes and residential (multifamily) mid- and high-rise projects.
- A genuine interest in and aptitude for leading people — this is a management role as much as an engineering one, not a purely technical, task-based position.
- Client-facing experience: comfort running or actively participating in coordination meetings with architecture, ME
