GSE Biomedical is a MedTech Studio based in Mexico that specializes in the design and development of medical devices at any stage. We have over 15 years of experience in the design, development, prototyping, testing, regulatory submission, and certified manufacturing of medical devices.

We are an ISO 13485 Certified and FDA-registered facility with full capabilities for manufacturing and clean room assembly operations for medical products that are exported into the US. We help our customers develop their technologies from a concept sketch to full-scale certified nearshoring manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical and mechatronic systems for medical devices from concept through production.
- Create and review 3D CAD models, technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate prototype builds, design verification, testing, and implementation of engineering changes.
- Collaborate with Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams throughout product development.
- Evaluate materials, components,



and manufacturing processes applying GD&T; and DFM/DFA principles.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical/mechatronic design.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T; and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWork, OnShape or similar) and mechanical simulations.
- Experience with prototype development, design verification, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Advanced English (technical documentation and communication).

This position is on-site in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
