Creative Video Editor - DTC Brand

Create scroll-stopping content for a scaling DTC brand. We need a performance-focused video editor who can turn raw footage into high-converting ads and social content - with creative freedom and direct feedback loops on what's working.

Uproot Clean is a fast-growing, eco-friendly pet care brand expanding across major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Chewy. Our marketing team is scaling rapidly, and we're looking for a video editor who wants to grow their skills in performance marketing while building a long-term role with a mission-driven company.

You'll be our go-to editor for short-form video content that drives sales—think Facebook/Instagram ads, TikTok content, and social clips. You'll work with a steady flow of creator and product footage, turning it into thumb-stopping content that performs. you'll see what converts, iterate based on data, and refine your craft with real-time feedback.

Video Editing & Production




Create high-performing Facebook/Instagram ad creatives and social media clips
Edit short-form content optimized for platform-specific formats
Manage creator content in Frame.Design marketing images, thumbnails, and social graphics
Create on-brand visual assets using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
Project Management
Track assignments and status updates in ClickUp
3-5+ years of video editing experience, specializing in short-form content
~ Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro skills (required)
~ Proven experience creating or editing Facebook/Instagram ads
~ Mid-level proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
~ Strong fundamentals in typography, color theory, composition, and motion graphics
~ Fluent English — excellent written and verbal communication
~ Portfolio required — you must submit a portfolio showcasing your video editing work. Background in DTC or e-commerce brands
Experience with remote collaboration tools (Slack, ClickUp, Frame.io, Notion)
