About the Role
This is a highly visible leadership position, designed for a senior risk professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and the ability to influence decisions at executive and Board level.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the credit risk strategy aligned with the organization’s risk appetite and long-term objectives
- Oversee portfolio performance, ensuring optimal risk-return balance, diversification, and asset quality
- Lead the design and enhancement of risk models, scoring methodologies, and decision frameworks
- Deliver forward-looking insights to senior leadership to support strategic and capital decisions
- Strengthen governance, ensuring alignment with financial regulation and best market practices




- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess portfolio resilience under adverse conditions
- Engage with regulators, central banks, and rating agencies to ensure transparency and credibility
- Act as a key partner to business leaders, enabling sustainable credit growth

Qualifications
- 15+ years in credit risk leadership within the financial industry (banking, lending, capital markets)
- Strong track record managing credit portfolios and risk frameworks at scale
- Expertise in risk modeling, financial analysis, and capital management
- Experience engaging with regulators and rating agencies
- Background in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or related field
- Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
