Job Description
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work to build and deliver quality data to help the team make data driven decisions. You will write code for data pipelines, data transformations, data modeling and other data-related tasks. You may also help build APIs for data access and integration with other systems and develop and maintain software applications related to data governance You will get to drive decisions and be part of a team that has a lot of fun along the way What you'll do

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and subject matter experts across Product, Marketing, and Operations to understand data needs, and meet those needs with a focus on supporting analytical and operational use cases while incorporating new or established classification schemes and naming conventions.




- Develop reusable components and frameworks for data transformation, anomaly detection and improving data quality.
- Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data, especially when new data sources or transformations are introduced.
- Own the delivery, quality, and reliability of our core data suite and act as support for production issues, profile performance, and drive in root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with governance and security protocols.
- Take full ownership of business problems from idea to solution through deployment.
- Actively seek out new technologies, evaluate them, and make recommendations to integrate them into our solutions.
- Work in a primarily Agile/Scrum product development process.
