As
Strategic Sourcing Project Manager
supporting the
Procurement organization
, you will be trusted to lead and coordinate strategic procurement initiatives, drive project governance, and support senior stakeholders across Direct and Indirect Sourcing. In this role, you will partner closely with Procurement leadership, sourcing teams, finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are planned, executed, tracked, and communicated effectively.

In this role, a typical day will include:




- Leading and managing a portfolio of strategic procurement and sourcing projects, with a strong focus on Indirect Procurement initiatives.
- Coordinating and facilitating Sourcing Councils, including agenda preparation, action item tracking, stakeholder follow-up, and progress monitoring.
- Driving project planning, timelines, milestones, risk management, and execution to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
- Tracking project-related spend, savings, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to provide clear visibility and executive-level reporting.
- Building and improving project governance, dashboards, reporting tools, and processes to support decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent years of directly related experience may be considered.
