Mroads is looking for a "QA Automation Engineer" for one of the direct clients in Mexico City, Mexico. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office a week.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using
Playwright with TypeScript
.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using
Tricentis Tosca
for functional and regression testing.
- Design and automate REST API test suites using
Postman
,
Playwright API Testing
, or
REST Assured
.
- Create reusable, maintainable, and scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate RESTful APIs, including authentication, request/response validation, error handling, and data integrity.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple applications.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using
Jenkins
,
GitHub Actions
, or
Azure DevOps
.




- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track defects using
Jira
.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Analyze test execution results and prepare automation metrics and quality reports.
- Support production validation and root cause analysis of production issues.
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing processes.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with
Playwright using TypeScript
.
- Experience with
Tricentis Tosca
automation testing.
