Key Responsibilities
Design and integrate industrial robot cells (layout, tooling, sensors, interlocks) for manufacturing workflows
Program and debug robotics and controls logic (robot programs, PLC sequences, IO mapping, alarms)
Integrate machine vision, safety systems, and conveyor/servo motion for reliable handling and inspection
Create and maintain documentation (IO lists, SOPs, FAT/SAT checklists, risk assessments) Support commissioning, ramp-up, and continuous improvement using OEE, downtime analysis, and root-cause methods
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and vendors to meet throughput, yield,
and compliance targets
Required Qualifications
Mid-senior experience in manufacturing automation or robotics integration
Strong controls fundamentals including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks
Machine safety principles (risk assessment, guarding, interlocks, E-stops) and change control
Ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/controls issues using logs, traces, and structured root-cause analysis
Remote Work Notes
This is a remote, full-time role. You will collaborate with distributed teams and coordinate with on-site technicians/vendors for commissioning planning and troubleshooting support.
