Role Description
This full-time Jefe de Turno Aceria role at SUACERO S.A. de C.V. is an on-site position based in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The Shift Chief in the steel mill oversees daily production activities, ensuring that steelmaking operations run safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. The role involves tracking production metrics, reporting incidents or deviations, and collaborating with maintenance teams to resolve issues and optimize production flow. The Jefe de Turno Aceria also supports training and coaching of team members, promotes continuous improvement, and ensures clear communication between shifts and management.

Qualifications
- Experience supervising production teams in heavy industry or steelmaking, with strong leadership and shift management skills.
- Knowledge of steel mill operations,



production processes, and basic mechanical or industrial systems related to a steel plant.
- Ability to enforce and promote occupational health, safety, and environmental standards in an industrial setting.
- Skills in monitoring production indicators, preparing reports, and using basic computer tools or industrial software.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities under time-sensitive conditions.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions to shift personnel.
- Technical degree or engineering background in metallurgical, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in steel mills or metal manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by production demands.
