This is a senior, hands-on web engineering role combining strong
React and Next.js development
with ownership of the platform’s
UI/UX design and user experience
.

With no dedicated designer currently in place, you will help shape how the web application looks, feels and functions while delivering robust, scalable front-end code.

Key Requirements

You will bring:
- 5+ years’ software engineering experience
- 2+ years’ commercial React and Next.js experience
- Strong front-end development and UI/UX design experience
- A track record of delivering polished, intuitive interfaces
- Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility and modern CSS
- Experience with reusable components or component libraries
- Strong front-end performance and Vercel experience




- Excellent technical English communication
- A proactive, ownership-led approach

Experience with
Zustand, Figma, design systems or production AI/ML solutions
would be advantageous.

The technology environment includes
Next.js, React, Zustand, Vercel, Python, SQL, dbt, GCP, BigQuery, Firebase, Flutter and Dart
.

Candidates must be based in
Mexico
, comfortable working U.S. Central Time hours and hold, or be able to renew, a
B-1/B-2 U.S. visitor visa
.

Role & Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining applications using React and Next.js
- Owning UI/UX patterns, visual consistency and interaction design
- Translating requirements into intuitive, accessible interfaces
- Developing reusable components and design systems
- Improving performance, accessibility and maintainability
- Deploying and supporting applications through Vercel
- Collaborating with engineering, product and customer-facing teams
- Mentoring colleagues and influe
