Role Description
The MRO Buyer Jr role is a full-time, on-site position based in San Francisco Coacalco, MEX. This role is responsible for supporting the purchasing of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) supplies and services, including identifying suppliers, requesting quotes, and placing purchase orders in line with company procedures. Day-to-day activities include monitoring inventory levels for MRO items, tracking deliveries, resolving discrepancies with vendors, and maintaining accurate purchasing records in internal systems. The MRO Buyer Jr collaborates with maintenance, production, and finance teams to understand requirements, optimize costs, and ensure timely availability of materials that support continuous operations. The role also assists in evaluating supplier performance, following compliance guidelines, and contributing to process improvements in the procurement function.

Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of purchasing or supply chain processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor management.




- Ability to work with inventory control concepts, such as stock levels, reorder points, and basic demand forecasting for MRO materials.
- Proficiency with office and business software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, and ERP or purchasing systems) to manage data and reports.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities to compare quotes, support cost optimization, and resolve delivery or quality issues.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco Coacalco, MEX, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; technical or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
