Short Description

We are seeking an experienced
Engine Room Supervisor
to join our offshore operations team onboard an
FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) vessel
located offshore Tamaulipas, Mexico. This role is responsible for leading the safe operation and maintenance of engine room equipment, utility systems, and associated machinery while ensuring operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and the highest safety standards.

Function Description

The Engine Room Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of engine room systems and utilities onboard an FPSO. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the position oversees daily operations, coordinates maintenance activities, supervises technical personnel, and supports emergency response and environmental compliance initiatives.

Main Tasks
- Supervise the operation, start-up, shutdown, isolation, and reinstatement of engine room equipment and utility systems.
- Lead and coordinate routine and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately documented.
- Manage and supervise engine room personnel, contractors, and vendor technicians.
- Conduct work planning, toolbox talks, shift handovers, and team briefings.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with class, inspection, and company requirements.
- Support emergency preparedness activities and actively participate in emergency response situations.
