Role Description
This part-time remote Junior Visual Designer role focuses on supporting the design and delivery of digital and print assets for Bright Future 4 Her’s initiatives and campaigns. The Junior Visual Designer will collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional team members to create graphics for social media, websites, presentations, and outreach materials that align with the organization’s mission and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include creating layouts, selecting imagery and typography, preparing assets for web and mobile, and iterating on design concepts based on feedback. The role also involves maintaining consistency across visual touchpoints, organizing design files, and contributing creative ideas for new visual storytelling approaches. The Junior Visual Designer is expected to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote work environment.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Visual Design and Graphic Design, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and accessible visual assets.




- Experience with Branding and Graphics, including working within brand guidelines and contributing to consistent visual identity.
- Basic to intermediate skills in Web Design, with an understanding of responsive layouts and asset preparation for digital platforms.
- Proficiency in common design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar) and familiarity with file organization and version control.
- Attention to detail, strong sense of composition and typography, and the ability to follow creative direction while suggesting improvements.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a remote setting and respond constructively to feedback.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a portfolio demonstrating design projects; prior internship or volunteer design experience is a plus.
