Function Description

We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Technician
to join our offshore team onboard an
FPSO vessel operating in the Gulf of Mexico
. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment that are essential to the safe and reliable operation of the facility.

Working closely with the Electrical Supervisor and multidisciplinary offshore teams, you will support power generation and distribution systems while ensuring full compliance with safety procedures, maintenance standards,



and operational requirements.

Main Tasks
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, motors, switchboards, generators, UPS systems, wiring, and portable tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using approved testing and diagnostic methods.
- Monitor equipment performance and condition, ensuring accurate reporting and maintenance records.
- Support the safe operation of electrical power generation and distribution systems.
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), isolation procedures, and safety requirements.
- Plan and utilize materials, spare parts, and resources efficiently.
