**TALENT ACQUISITION LEAD**

As a Talent Acquisition Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
In this role you will be developing and implementing recruitment strategies in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partners, Senior Business Leaders and Hiring Managers to identify and fill vacancies with qualified individuals with the right capability and skills in a timely and cost efficient manner. This will include proactive activity anticipating talent needs, developing and implementing sourcing plans, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management and managing the hiring administration process.
**EXPLAIN WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES**
- Manage employee referral, improving opportunities to use employee knowledge & networks. Takes accountability for programme reputation and improvement
- Develop advertising (print & online) initiatives, driving consistency, quality, and influencing (cost) efficiency of media spend.



Evaluates existing framework with Employer Brand Strategy role holder
- Develops and manages AstraZeneca’s approach to on-line job boards, selecting and managing appropriate suppliers aligned with forecast, and measuring effectiveness
- Develops and manages AstraZeneca’s approach to recruitment communication materials and collateral, ensuring high quality on-brand output, including offer packs, brochures and event support materials. Influence an appropriate balance between the (cost) effectiveness of print vs. online
- Develops innovative channels to market and assesses the value of new sourcing tools (in partnership with Talent & Strategic Workforce Team) & other relevant collaborators. E.g. social networking tools, web 2.0 technologies et al.
- Supports and influences sourcing plans, facilitating knowledge sharing across teams and providing coaching and consultancy (as appropriate) on the most effective and efficient routes to market
- Supports the implementation of AstraZeneca’s diversity and graduate recruitment strategy (in partnership with Talent & Strategic Workforce Planning colleagues) influencing to ensure campus activity (for example, career fairs) and diversity interventions are (cost) effective
- Participates in all activities in the recruitment life cycle including; sourcing planning, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting,



offer management and hiring administration
**HIGHLIGHT THE SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES NEEDED**
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of relevant talent acquisition experience is required.
- Experienced in delivering full life cycle recruitment services.
- Competent IT skills, including all Microsoft office, spreadsheets, databases, reports and able to produce meaningful management information.
- Stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Persuading, influencing, negotiating and consultation skills.
- Managing teams of recruiters.
Desirable Requirements
- Broad understanding of Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry
- Corporate recruiting experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
