**Job Propuse**:
Provide experience in specific areas of the Facilities department as responsible for ensuring the most efficient operation of the equipment and ensuring the profitable manufacturing of the product.
**Job Duties**:
Facilities engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. They perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and safety processes and implement improvements.
This is a staff position that is expected to work as a specialist in the Facilities area, with the correct planning required to keep the equipment operating according to Manufacturers' recommendations, always taking care of safety.
Work assignments may be specialized in nature but may also be broad based with coordination between other staff personnel.
Ensure the continuous operation y maintenance program for the air compressors, air dryers, cooling towers, electrical substations (115kv/13.8kv/480V), potable water plant and water treatment plant, HVAC equipment’s, docks and high-speed curtains. Secondary services to dining rooms, natural and gas supply systems, illumination for facilities and exterior areas, emergency electrical plants, pumping systems, water wells and infrastructure plant.
- Assures all facilities support equipment and critical utilities operate within parameters according of OEM.
- Assures an ongoing benchmark of energy consumption associated with facilities processes, identifies opportunities for improvement and creates action plans for implementation.
- Contributes to and manages preparing, tracking, and controlling departmental Expense budgets.
- Monitors operations of facility support systems and critical utilities; make recommendations to improve efficiency and reliability and to reduce the downtime.
- Creates and develops strategies for facilities business resumption.
- Provides guidance and direction in optimizing plant energy consumption.
- Provides guidance and direction of facility maintenance and construction activities.
- Provides guidance and direction of projects involving alterations to facilities support systems and critical utilities.
- Provides troubleshooting of facilities operational issues.
- Serves as project leader of facilities projects, control the projects schedules and budgets.
- Creates and develops strategies for facilities business resumption
This position encompasses planning, tooling, maintenance, plant engineering, releasing, machine shop, assembly, etc. wherever a specific technical assignment may be needed.
Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.
**Background/Experience**:
This position requires thorough strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, neumatics systems, to mention a few.
The position requires Electrical or Mechanical university degree combined with a minimum of 5 year of appropriate experience. Must possess appropriate language and communication skills.
