**Refractory Supervisor**
**About the job**
RHI Magnesita is seeking a Refractory Supervisor located in Monterrey, NL or Ramos Arizpe, Coah. or Monclova, Coah!
The Refractory Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of customer satisfaction to include refractory installation, problem solving, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
This position full
- time will report to the Head of Refractory Services Operations. The Refractory Supervisor will travel both domestically and internationally with about 10% travel time.
The salary depends on what is required at client’s company
**The Refractory Supervisor’s tasks include**:
- Adherence to proper safety requirements by client, and use of appropriate PPE at all customer sites.
- Daily reports and consumption/performance monitoring
- Ability to complete necessary equipment operations and pre-check certifications and standards.
- Ability to respond to afterhours urgent or emergency needs of the customer.
**About you**
Do you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical, Science or Ceramics is preferred
- +2 years of refractory installation or steel mill or foundry experience preferred Experience in refractory industry is a plus
- Safety focused. Familiarity with heavy industrial environments and related safety standards
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite of products, specifically basic Excel skills - data entry / reports / create basic spreadsheets, One Note, Teams, Outlook, and some Word
- Independent worker and self-starter,

- Ability to learn inventory control processes and standards
- Works effectively and collaboratively, including clear written and verbal communications
