We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Molecular Biology Lab Technician to support our team remotely.

This role offers excellent schedule flexibility and is idóneo for an organized scientist looking to apply their wet lab expertise to remote data tracking, protocol planning, and virtual lab operations support.

Role Overview

While this is a remote position, we require a candidate who has hands-on, practical experience in a physical molecular biology and histology wet lab. You will be translating your physical lab experience into digital workflows, standard operating procedure (SOP) development, and data management.

Core Responsibilities & Technical Expectations You will be expected to understand the logistics, safety protocols, and execution of the following workflows:
- Sample & Reagent Handling: Conceptual understanding of serial dilutions, reagent aliquoting,



precise buffer preparation, plate reformatting, and kit assembly.
- Cell Culture & Molecular Assays: Knowledge of handling adherent cell lines, performing media exchanges, cryogenic vial retrieval, and transfection setups.
- Nucleic Acid & Protein Work: Familiarity with magnetic bead DNA/RNA extractions, PCR/qPCR setup, agarose gel electrophoresis, and Western blot preparation.
- Histology & Imaging: Basic understanding of microtome sectioning, H&E;/IHC slide staining, coverslipping, and microscope slide loading.
- General Lab Operations: Familiarity with autoclave sterilization safety, centrifuge balancing, and maintaining rigorous bench staging and cleanup standards.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
