Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Middle Test Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. Our client is a general, science-led biopharmaceutical company specializing in discovering, developing, and commercializing prescription medicines. - 3-5 years of experience analyzing and breaking all kinds of software (mobile, web, back-end, front-end, web services, cloud, etc.).
- Experience with Agile projects.
- Understanding databases' basic usage.
- Expertise in test data creation, test case creation and execution, bug creation, and tracking.
- Knowledge of the UAT testing process.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and their tech stack.
- Good experience in testing software products.
- Fluent in English (at least 70 - 80%).
- Strong experience working within global testing teams with geographically dispersed stakeholders and project team members.
- Experience in collaborating with people across the globe with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Good skills in prioritization and management of the project workload.
- Organizational skills with the ability to work across multiple projects and teams.
- Lateral thinking.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive individual with good verbal and written communication skills for teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and explain your tests and their results to technical and non-technical people.
- Define and record any defects that are discovered.




- Follow up on retesting scenarios.
- Provide feedback on potential missing scenarios for testing.
- Translate business requirements into testable requirements using test methodologies and actions.
- Perform testing in Waterfall and Agile models.
- Coordinate with different teams to resolve the blockers like test data creation, and dependencies.
- Manage test activities, providing test execution, testing cycles, and testing phases (project level) to deliver accurate test status to the stakeholders depending on the Test phase.
- Follow up on AZ-SQ&T; standards - good testing practices.
- When you have dependencies with other teams (s), or you're blocked from completing your assignments due to dependencies, look for workarounds to tackle this problem and keep your test lead.
- Escalate bugs, risks, and any changes to the testing scope, ensuring that all impacts and changes are well-documented.
