Key Responsibilities
- Lead global and regional sourcing activities with strong emphasis on North America to secure components at optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Drive price negotiations, commercial terms, and lead time optimization with current and prospective suppliers.
- Align sourcing strategies with the organization’s long-term growth objectives and profitability targets.
- Consistently deliver annual cost reduction goals through value engineering, supplier optimization, and alternative sourcing initiatives.
- Track and report on key performance metrics related to sourcing effectiveness and supply chain health.
- Support new product development by sourcing specialized materials, prototypes, and samples for emerging technologies.
- Manage supplier transitions, evaluate outcomes, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Stay informed on evolving manufacturing technologies and industry advancements relevant to high-volume production.
- Partner with internal teams (Project Management, Engineering, and Quality)



to enhance overall supply chain performance and resolve material-related issues.
- Design and execute structured cost savings programs across the assigned commodity areas.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sourcing team.
- Be available for occasional international travel to support supplier audits, negotiations, and development activities.

Qualifications & Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline

At least 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a general manufacturing environment
- Strong background in the Automotiv e or Consumer Electronic s sector is required
- Deep knowledge of electronic components and interconnect solutions is strongly preferred
- Prior experience developing and managing international suppliers is a significant advantage
