About the Role
We are looking for a Payment Operations Associate to join our growing team and help deliver a smooth, accurate, and efficient onboarding experience for new merchants.
This role is idóneo for someone who enjoys operations, paperwork, process management, and customer support. You will be responsible for guiding merchant accounts from signed agreements through successful activation while coordinating with vendors, processing banks, internal teams, and sales representatives. In addition to onboarding, you'll provide ongoing support related to billing, account updates, documentation, and leasing inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Merchant Onboarding & Documentation
- Review, verify, and process merchant applications accurately.
- Ensure all required documentation is complete before submission.
- Set up merchant accounts through processing banks and internal systems.




- Maintain accurate onboarding records and status updates in CRM platforms.
- Manage multiple onboarding cases while maintaining quality and speed.

Vendor & Bank Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors and processing banks to collect and submit required documentation.
- Resolve onboarding issues and bottlenecks quickly.
- Ensure merchants move efficiently from signed agreement to live account.

Merchant & Agent Support
- Handle support tickets and account inquiries.
- Assist with billing questions, account updates, paperwork, and leasing-related issues.
- Support sales agents with onboarding requirements and merchant requests.
- Escalate complex cases to the appropriate internal teams.

Internal Operations
- Create equipment order tickets for approved deals.
- Coordinate installation scheduling with internal teams.
- Maintain organized and accurate account records.
- Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
