Description: 1. Leads Production Improvement Engineering team in efforts to reduce aircraft cost, reduce non-conformances, and improve manufacturability through redesign
2. Leads stress analysis across the Engineering organization
3. Leads the composite airframe primary and secondary structural design through detail design and design for manufacturing
4. Design using Creo (Pro/E) CAD software for solid modeling
5. Create statistics and KPIs to track results
6. Prepares and delivers presentations to senior management for project statuses, constraints, and critical issues
- Requirements: - 8 to 10 years of experience designing general aviation primary and secondary structures, including composites and injection molded plastics, using complex surfaces in Pro Element/Creo
- Startup Experience




- Manufacturing company experience. Preferred experience in the Aeronautical industry
- Materials and Processing (M&P;) oversight
- Preliminary sizing for stress through hand calculations or Pro/Mechanical Finite Element Analysis
- MRP/ERP system understanding for EBOM, MBOM, Routings, Inventory levels, etc.
- MS Office Intermediate
