This position is responsible for STRG systems and components (Gear, Column, EE) development from new project launch to project maintenance during vehicle life cycle.
Focus on Vehicle development, design fix to achieve the QCT target, and QCT management as well as teamwork with other Nissan areas such as Purchasing, Manufacturing and other Design teams.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Responsible for STRG systems and components (Gear, Column, EE) development
- Reduce product cost working with supplier and other Nissan areas.
- Improve design Quality and performance in vehicle for STRG areas.
- To evaluate design changes by design review and secure all Nissan design standards are meet.
- Reporting project KPI and key issues to Managers
- Achieve the timing following to Nissan development schedule and criteria for milestone
**Education**:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or related Engineering.
**Previous work experience**:
Experience in the Manufacturing Industry (Automotive is a plus)
**Required knowledge**:
Basic engineering knowledge.
**Language**:
English (Business fluent)
**Computer skills**:
CAD, Excel, Power Point.
