We are looking for a talented VPI MANUFACTURING ENGINEER to join our team specializing in MANUFACTURING for our CUMMINS ENGINE COMPONENTS in CIUDAD JUÁREZ, CHIHUAHUA, MÉXICO.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Design, development, and implementation of machinery.
- Development of new product projects from M1 to M6 (from start to finish phases).
- Project monitoring based on Project Management methodology.
- Documentation of all project phases and the final production process.
- Troubleshooting during runs and implementation of new products.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Solid experience in Product Introduction Engineering (VPI).
- Knowledge in problem-solving methods (5 Whys, 7 Steps, or A3).
- Knowledge in machinery integration: design, drawing preparation, interpretation of drawings, PLC, Visual Basic Programming.
- Required knowledge in Project Management (PMI certification desirable).
- Desirable knowledge in Databases (Access or SQL).
- University degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, or Electronic Engineering.
- Advanced English.
- USA Visa desirable. This position will require 10% travel.
