About the role
We're looking for a bookkeeper to own the foundation of the Taxceed system, the layer everything else rests on.

This role carries two responsibilities that are really the same discipline applied at two points in the workflow: recording the business accurately, and making sure every engagement has what it needs before technical work begins. Every financial statement, every filing, every model, and every dollar figure the firm produces rests on what you produce here. If the data is wrong, or the file isn't ready, nothing above it is right.

A transaction recorded incorrectly isn't approximately wrong — it's wrong.

The same person who's exceptionally good at zero-error transaction recording is well suited to holding a hard gate under pressure — both require refusing to let "close enough" pass. Ten business days before every period end, a structured, standardized request goes out to the client automatically. You don't wait to be asked to start the cycle, and you don't let a deadline talk you into clearing a file that isn't ready.

What you'll do
Transaction recording
- Record every transaction accurately and completely, every period, without exception
- Reconcile every account before posting the books-closed status change
- Flag anomalies or unusual activity to the Accountant or Tax Preparer immediately — not at close

- Hold the gate: no technical work begins
