About the Role
We are hiring a Senior DI Modernization Engineer to build and modernize scalable backend services using cloud-native technologies. You'll work on high-availability platforms, APIs, and distributed systems while collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.
- Build production-ready services using Elixir .
- Develop REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Implement Kafka-based messaging solutions.
- Deploy and support applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor application health using DataDog.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps initiatives.
- Apply secure software development practices throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in architecture discussions and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Qualifications




- 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Elixir .
- Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
- Strong experience with:
- AWS
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- PostgreSQL
- Kafka
- REST APIs
- GraphQL
- gRPC
- DataDog
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Understanding of secure API development and application security principles.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code , GitHub Copilot, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
