Application Support Engineer

Requirements
- 5 years of experien ce in Application Support for mission-critical systems, preferably within th e financial services indust ry.
- Experience supporting applications related to:
- Lobbyworks (Workforce Monitoring).
- Watchlist.
- Building and Facilities Security Systems.
- Physical Access Control solutions for financial institutions.
- Hands-on experience with: Python, SQL. Unix/Linux. Web Services. REST/SOAP APIs. ServiceNow, StarFleet. AppDynamics.
- Understanding of Application Support processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management in production environments.
- Basic knowledge of financial products and the financial services business.
- Experience using monitoring, reporting, and issue-tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations using multiple sources of information.
- Experience participating in process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.




- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams.
- Intermediate English proficiency

Responsibilities
- Provide application support, monitoring, and incident resolution for business-critical production environments.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem records using ServiceNow while ensuring compliance with established SLAs.
- Participate in application release activities, supporting development, testing, deployment, and production implementation.
- Perform post-deployment validation to ensure application stability, service availability, and successful production releases.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and recovery exercises.
- Analyze applications to identify operational risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
