Position Purpose
Reporting to the Operational Excellence Leader, the OPEX/CI Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting Operational Excellence initiatives across the site through the deployment of Lean Manufacturing principles, Continuous Improvement methodologies, Operational Excellence systems, and cross-functional projects. This position drives sustainable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory and People Development while supporting the site's Operational Excellence strategy.

Postion Responabilities
- Lead Continuous Improvement projects aligned with business objectives and site priorities.
- Facilitate Kaizen Events following the corporate CI methodology.
- Develop Value Stream Maps and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Support deployment of Lean Manufacturing tools including 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, TPM, SMED and Daily Management Systems.
- Deploy and sustain Operational Excellence systems including Tier Meetings, Visual Factory and Daily Accountability.




- Develop, monitor and analyze Operational Excellence KPIs and performance dashboards.
- Support OEE improvement initiatives through loss analysis and improvement projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional improvement initiatives with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance and EHS.
- Develop project charters, implementation plans and sustainability plans for improvement initiatives.
- Track project savings and validate financial impact with Finance when applicable.
- Coach and train employees on Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Support Hoshin Kanri (Policy Deployment) initiatives and strategic projects.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to Operational Excellence systems.
