**What your background should look like**:
- Qualifications:
- B.S. Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electronics, Manufacturing or related)
- Minimum of 8 years applicable engineering experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt training preferred.
- In-Depth knowledge of advanced plastic molding manufacturing methods and systems
- Experience on High Speed Cables is a plus
- Proficient in advanced problem solving skills including statistical analysis
- Excellent Project Management and New Product Introduction Skills
- Knowledge in SAP
- Must be proficient in the English language
- Leadership Experience is a plus
- 3D Design software (CREO, SolidWorks, Catia, Autodesk)
**Responsibilities**:
- Subject matter expert in Molding processes.
- Develop cable over-molding processes.
- Participates in daily meetings with the operations team aimed at identifying and resolving process issues quickly.
- Ensures that the processes run by the manufacturing team are performing at the designed efficiencies.
- Responsible for driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, OEE. Scrap, and cost using the TEOA tools and philosophy.




- Works closely with the launch organization and the Project manager on the introduction of new products.
- Develop expertise team (Engineers and Technicians) on molding processes.
- Capture cost savings and return on investment using TE’s TEBIT system and contribute towards the sites cost saving targets.
- Use technical expertise in molding process to define, document and provide training for current best practice, ensuring cost effective, repeatable, and high-quality practices are used for both existing production and New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Able to assist on the manufacturing tools design.
- To observe Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation.
- Develop roadmaps for cost improvements related to molding processes but not limited to
- Be the go-to contact for any molding processes issues in the region.
