WHY LABOR LAW PC

Labor Law PC is a California plaintiff-side employment law firm. We represent employees against their employers. We are fully remote, intentionally built, and growing, with a team distributed across the United States and internationally, purpose-built litigation systems, and a selective case philosophy that means every file we carry is one we believe in.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced bilingual legal assistant to join our litigation support team. This is a hands-on role. You will monitor court dockets, coordinate with courts, support attorneys and law clerks, translate for Spanish-speaking clients, and help the team stay on top of the details that matter in litigation.

This is an administrative and procedural role. Substantive legal work is handled by our attorneys and law clerks.



What we need is someone who is genuinely skilled at legal support, takes the procedural details seriously, and brings the judgment to flag problems before they become emergencies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Monitor court dockets for active cases monthly and after hearings, compare against the calendar and case management system, and escalate any discrepancies to the legal team.
- Contact courts on behalf of attorneys and law clerks to get answers on calendaring and procedural questions, and return with complete and useful information.
- Provide Spanish-English translation support for the team and for clients.
- Coordinate scheduling for the legal team, including client appointments and internal meetings.
- Follow up with clients on documents as directed by the legal team.
- Index documents and support document organization across active case files.
