The Production Operator Level V is a roll up of Airgas West Region’s criteria to successfully support the functions of a Level I-IV Production Operators. The Production Operator Level V will make and/or repackage/pump compressed and liquefied industrial gases into high pressure cylinders, perform cylinder inspection and maintenance, qualify cylinders (ultrasonic and hydro testing) move cylinders to different areas of the plant, and load/unload cylinders from delivery trucks.
- Advance and contribute to the Airgas culture – putting safety first.
- Safely operate forklift, hand-truck, pallet-jack, chain hoist, etc. to load/unload compressed and liquid industrial gas cylinders to and from delivery trucks to filling and storage areas.
- May load cylinders onto vehicles manually or with the aid of material handling equipment.
