Job Summary:**

Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV is seeking enthusiastic and motivated students for CO-OP/Internship positions within our VPS (Valeo Production System) department. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of VPS tools and methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, Standardized Work, and Kaizen.
- Participate in process analysis and optimization projects, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Collect and analyze data related to production performance, waste reduction, and productivity.
- Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to achieve project objectives.




- Contribute to problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (e.g., PDCA, 8D).
- Prepare presentations and reports on project progress and outcomes.
- Learn and apply Valeo's safety protocols and quality standards.

Job Qualifications:**
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, etc.), Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong academic record.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
