Myunghwa Mexico is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Manager – Quality to join our Quality Department.

This position is idóneo for professionals with strong experience in Automotive Quality Systems and Certifications (Q1 experience a big plus), Customer Quality, and Problem Solving. The selected candidate will support the Quality Manager by leading customer quality activities, monitoring quality KPIs, coordinating corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the Quality Manager in achieving departmental objectives and quality KPIs.
· Monitor customer complaints and coordinate timely resolution through 8D methodology.
· Review the progress of customer open issues and ensure effective follow-up with cross-functional teams.
· Validate corrective actions before customer submission to ensure effectiveness.




· Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support regarding quality-related concerns.
· Support QA and QC teams in problem-solving activities and quality improvement initiatives.
· Monitor and analyze quality indicators such as Customer Complaints, PPM, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
· Coordinate containment actions and track containment costs.
· Support internal and external quality audits. ISO/TS/IATF 16949.
· Lead the plant certification for 2028 for Q1.
· Act as Quality Manager during absences when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in:

· Mechanical Engineering
· Industrial Engineering
· Mechatronics Engineering
· Manufacturing Engineering
· Or related fields

Experience

· 5 years of experience(+/-) in Quality Engineering within the Automotive Manufacturing Industry and quality systems
· Experience working directly with automotive customers, Ford is a plus.
