An important general electronics company is looking for a Plastic and Resin Commodity Manager. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our office in Queretaro.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As the Plastic & Resin Commodity Manager, you will manage a critical part of the company success, the development and implementation of our strategy for the company plastic components which represent one the most critical direct spend category for the business.

You will report to the Commodity Management Director and collaborate with the support of an international sourcing team (US, China, Europe, and Mexico). Your primary goal is to ensure that the organization obtains the necessary goods at the right quality, price, and terns while optimizing supplier relationships and mitigating risks. This commodity manager is responsible to lead the commodity team, including, but not limited to, engineering, quality, NPD Sourcing and site materials management, in setting the commodity strategy for Plastics and Resins. This role includes supplier relationship development, leadership of productivity project,



support for site material management and quality assurance as well as supporting mew product development sourcing teams in the supplier selection process.

The Plastic & Resin Commodity Manager will have a direct impact on our supply chain group, responsible for the end-to-end category management:
- Strategic Sourcing - Develop and implement sourcing strategies for plastic components. This includes identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and evaluating supplier performance.
- Cost Management - Analyze market trends, pricing, and cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost reductions or cost stability.
- Supply Chain Optimization - Work closely with other departments, such as buyer and supplier quality assurance team, to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain. Address any supply chain disruptions or
