JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
Observe, maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF1649)
Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and industry certifications, including IATF 16949 and other applicable standards.
Manage annual audit plan for internal, customer, and third-party certification audits.
Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for automotive seat covers and interior component manufacturing operations.
Ensure that safety-critical customer requirements are understood and consistently met across all plants. Promote the implementation of new safety-critical initiatives and systematically monitor their effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and other quality tools.
Lead customer quality interface activities, including audits, corrective actions, quality reviews, customer visits and issue resolution.
Establish quality objectives, KPIs,



and performance metrics to improve operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to eliminate recurring quality issues.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Oversee supplier quality management programs, including supplier audits, qualification, development, and performance improvement initiatives.
Develop and mentor quality teams to foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
Prepare and present quality performance reports to executive leadership and customers.
Support new product launches by ensuring compliance with Advanced quality planning (APQP) and validation requirements.
Product safety and compliance representative and leader. Create and promote environments with high sense of responsibility for product safety.
