The Sourcing Agent (SA) will work closely with their manager to develop and execute General and/or Regional sourcing strategies supporting the various business units on productivity, supply chain, and product development initiatives. The SA will be required to manage a supply base within their assigned categories. This individual will be responsible to find and qualify new suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, oversee Supplier performance, resolve open issues, and work closely with regional sourcing members to achieve Supply Chain Goals. They will need to work cross functionally to help execute broad business decisions. Additionally, the SA will be expected to incorporate best practice purchasing processes and tools to develop category strategies and support supplier development plans.
