Purpose and Scope

The primary responsibility of this position is to establish direction and leadership for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of industry leading environmental, health, safety,



and ergonomic programs in a way that demonstrates Timken´s commitment to safety and environmental sustainability with the aim of eliminating accidents, property loss, harm to the environment, and compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

Responsabilities
- Expert source of knowledge concerning all Federal, State and local rules and regulations pertaining to Environmental and Safety regulations and good industry practice.
- Advise management on governmental regulation relating to EH; recommend necessary actions to obtain compliance and develops procedures and projects to assure continuing compliance with EHS regulations and company standards.
- Submits in a proper manner all necessary reports, statistics and responds to the agencies/corporate correspondence. (external and internal reporting).
- Maintain relationships with regulatory, governmental agency personnel and Corporate EHS Department and represents organization at external forums.
