**Company Overview**
At Naya Homes, we’re building a property management and hospitality company that empowers homeowners and real estate developers to increase their financial returns through short-term and vacation rentals while removing their operating burden. As we scale, we will be uniquely positioned to leverage our data to unlock a new asset class in Latam.
**Responsibilities will certainly evolve, but early work can look like**:
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements in accordance with the legal and financial guidelines of the company
- Assist with review of expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure information is accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
- Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly/annual closings
- Assist with other accounting tasks
**About you**




- 2+ years of experience with similar positions.
- Analytical and logical skills. Audit and internal control skills is a plus.
- Great attention to detail.
- Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Knowledge and management of ERP systems.
- Very knowledgeable with SAP accounting software and experience using it.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Have worked and thrived in a fast-paced environment at an early stage company (Preferred not required).
- Deep customer focus and empathy.
- Instinct on how to make tradeoffs between elegance and efficiency.
- Excel at working cross-functionally and being a collaborative team player.
- Excellent communicator.
- Inspired by and passionate about the mission.
