UCB is seeking to hire an exceptional Special Projects Manager who will be responsible for driving business excellence and supporting the execution of key strategic initiatives across the affiliate. This role leads the implementation of the critical crossfucntional projects applying best‑in‑class frameworks and methodologies to elevate performance and operational effectiveness. Single point of contact between Mexican affiliate, Regional and General teams for strategic initiatives above country. Ensures alignment and management of process‑excellence efforts across teams.
The role is accountable for enhancing day‑to‑day operational efficiency, providing structure, governance, and logistical support for strategic and cross‑functional projects.
The Special Projects Manager partners closely with Commercial, Medical, Omnichannel, I2I, Talent, Medical Operations, and Market Access, acting as a key enabler of learning plans and cross‑functional collaboration.
The role ensures access to subject‑matter experts and coordinates learning and capability‑building agendas across teams to support successful execution of strategic initiatives.
1. Strategic Project & Program Leadership
- Drive the execution of critical crossfucntional and priority strategic initiatives, ensuring delivery against scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and quality standards.
- Oversee end‑to‑end program management activities, including planning, governance routines, documentation, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Steer budgeting, forecasting, resourcing, and governance processes to enable effective business excellence delivery.
- Champion the adoption of project management methodologies and enhance execution frameworks through continuous improvement.
2. Cross‑Functional Alignment & Stakeholder Leadership
- Serve as the primary liaison across Commercial, Medical, Omnichannel, I2I, Talent, Med Ops, and Market Access teams, ensuring alignment, timely communication, and
