AKS / Kubernetes platform engineering with Helm, RBAC, KEDA and Azure services; CI/CD and automated testing strategy including Java testing, SIT, UAT and performance testing; Kafka, Temporal.We are looking for a Senior Platform and Quality Engineer to provision, configure and operate the Azure AKS infrastructure supporting the claims review platform, including self-managed Temporal.io deployment, Kafka configuration and KEDA-based autoscaling. This role will also design and execute the project quality strategy, including automated testing, fault injection, SIT and UAT coordination, using Claude Code to accelerate manifest, pipeline and test suite generation.

Provision and manage AKS namespaces for development and production in Azure MX, ensuring environment separation through network policies and RBAC.




Deploy and operate Temporal Server through the official Helm chart with Azure SQL persistence; Configure Kafka topics, DLQ and consumer groups; Manage Azure Key Vault, workload managed identities, TLS/mTLS policies and integration service configuration.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for build, testing, security scanning and AKS deployment.
Design and execute the testing strategy: unit, integration, fault injection, SIT and performance testing at 150% peak volume equivalent to at least 13,500 claims per month.
Implement automated testing with Temporal.io testing framework and Testcontainers; support UAT execution with claims SMEs and manage defect closure.
Apply Claude Code, prompt engineering and agile practices to accelerate delivery and automation.

Candidates should bring strong platform engineering, quality engineering and cloud operations experience
