Job Description: Requirement Engineer
Skills:
Mid to senior (3 to 5+ years of experience)
Should be go getter
Awareness of Power BI and ability to understand the PowerBI linkages
Experience will SysML and UML
Key Responsibilities
Analyze Sys1 and internal requirements generated by Bose Labs and other stakeholders.
Decompose and author System Level 2 and System Level 3 requirements that are:
Clear, unambiguous, and testable
Traceable back to Sys1 and internal sources
Aligned with the system architecture and defined program constraints
Apply ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) principles to requirements engineering activities, with emphasis on:
SYS.1 – System Requirements Analysis
SYS.2 – System Architectural Design
SYS.3 – Support to System Integration and Test
Support requirements baselining in Jama in accordance with approved project configuration management (CM) plans.
Create, maintain, and review ASPICE‑compliant work products, including but not limited to:
System Requirements Specifications (Sys2 and Sys3)
Requirements decomposition and allocation artifacts
Requirement attributes,



rationale, and acceptance criteria
Bi‑directional traceability records across the V‑model
Change records and supporting documentation for verification and validation
Use Jama as the primary requirements management tool to:
Author, review, compare, and baseline system requirements
Maintain bi‑directional traceability up, down, and across the V‑model (Sys1 ↔️ Sys2 ↔️ Sys3 ↔️ verification artifacts)
Conduct and facilitate Jama reviews with cross‑functional stakeholders
Perform requirement comparisons, version control, and change impact analysis
Own follow‑up and closure of actions and issues identified during requirements and system reviews, including coordination and tracking in issue‑management tools (e.g., JIRA), ensuring timely resolution and documented closure.
Generate ACE inputs from system and requirements reviews by:
Consolidating review outputs, actions, decisions, and approvals
