**JOB SUMMARY**:
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Reviews all staffing needs daily, monthly and by forecast.
- Responsible for all employee training.
- Interfaces with HR on all staffing issues for all three shifts.
- Works with product managers and document control to ensure changes or corrections ae handled properly.
- Responsible for all quality control on the manufacturing floor.
- Orders all department supplies and tooling.
- Participates in R&D; and engineering teams and meetings.
- Responsible for scrap recycling.
- Responsible for managing department budget on a monthly basis. Maintains a safe and healthy workplace for employees in compliance with all applicable laws, and regulations. Promotes a positive attitude towards safety. Adheres to the requirements of safety policies as well as safety rules, instructions and procedures.
- Practices continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste. May participate in continuous improvement events.




- Other duties as assigned.
**EDUCATION**:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
**EXPERIENCE**:
- **Minimum ten years’ experience in extrusion product manufacturing industry required.**
**SKILLS**:
- Analytical and observational skills in budgeting and forecasting manufacturing programs required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams.
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations, remaining focused on the ultimate objective.
- Capacity to work within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Advanced competency level in MS Office.
- Ability to use instruction, training and analytical skills to resolve process issues
Pay: From $25,000.00 per month
