**What You Will Do**:
- Establish the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
- Plans the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.
- Plans the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment.
- Performs research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification or electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
- May assist facilities engineers (planning and design of facilities) and materials logistics (packaging design).
**Qualifications** You Must Have**:
- Typically requires a University Degree in Engineering and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
- Relevant experience leading a Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing process
- Strong project planning, communication skills and resource management skills
- Ability to work across the organization and various disciplines including Engineering, Operations, Program Office, and Business Development
- Experience running multiple complex projects and integrated cross functional teams.
- Conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
