Plans and buys material for a specific plant and product line (family) based on the operating model MTS/MTO and planning policies. Responsible for planning parameters such as material lead times, ABC, IQR and supplier performance metrics. Manages daily placement of orders, negotiate LT, challenge MOQ’s, execute exemption messages to balance inventory and service levels as well as sharing status to scheduler and production team.

- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain; Operations Management; Business or related field or APICS certification (or local country equivalent education)
- Certificate(s): CSCP certification a plus
- Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or 4 Years in Supply Chain-
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in buyer, purchasing role, inventory management or relevant experience in supply chain function.-
- Experience in finished good and non-finished good scheduling/planning processes and procedures-
- ERP supply planning software experience preferred (e.g., Oracle, SAP; JDA Demand; JDA Fulfillment; E3 and/or AWR)-
- Multi-site inventory management experience is a plus.-
- Strong proficiency in use of Excel; advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Access is a plus.-
- Experience with forecasting systems is a strong plus.- Work Shift
