This position exists in order to handle all the commercial aspects with LEGO suppliers. Also to ensure the supply platform of materials on time and quality aligning with the LEGO requirements to boost the brand positioning.
**Play your part in our team succeeding**
Main challenges for this position is to keep the suppliers in compliance in all LEGO requirements like for example FSC, Code of Conduct, Product Safety, Quality, Delivery Flexibility to mention some of them but also to continuously persue saving and projects of improvements with them.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Evaluate the development and performance of suppliers in terms of deliveries On Time and In full, together with lead times. Understand the root cause and corrective actions from suppliers and internal personnel from LEGO in terms of deliveries and / or quality to look proactively that they won’t occur in future
- Work together with the suppliers to review their productions plans and capacity to align them to our requirements of supply chain. Guarantee production capacity with strategic suppliers
- Management and analysis of inventory of suppliers in order to guarantee the supply but at the same time avoid excess of obsolescence.
- Stop the deliveries as a result of an incident with FSC, quality or confidentiality topics after alignment with his leader.
- Maintain and guarantee an effective communication between the LEGO collaborators and suppliers
**Do you have what it takes?**
- At least 2 or 5 years of experience in Procurement and Sourcing area of a manufacturing company, global is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in fields of supply chain, commercial, engineering, or manufacturing
- Technical skills: Advanced skills in MS Office (power point,
excel mainly) and SAP experience
- Skills:Advanced negotiation and communication skills, customer service and quality oriented. High ability to do risk assessments and problem solution oriented to good and strategic results. Proactive person, looking for innovation, good partnership and high level of leadership. Strong project/program management.
- English fluent level.
