**Project Overview**: Join a small non-profit research company that is revolutionizing the development of clinical-stage therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases, with a focus on Parkinson’s disease. By leveraging data modeling, analytics, and technology, this organization drives innovative drug development and democratizes access to clinical studies and medicines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with teams to design and develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for healthcare studies and tools that support clinical-stage drug development.
- Work closely with UX and design leadership to execute product visions and deliver cohesive, user-centered design outcomes.
- Partner with developers and stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of user-centric designs in the final product.
- Use Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and iterative design solutions, ensuring a smooth design-to-development handoff.
- Assist in the creation of user flows, visual design components, and comprehensive design systems to maintain consistency and accessibility.
- Contribute to user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve the user experience.
**Technical Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframes, prototypes, and design iterations.
- Ability to translate complex user requirements into clear, compelling design solutions.




- Experience with creating and maintaining design systems.
- Familiarity with responsive, accessible design principles.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for design-to-development alignment.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in user research methodologies, including conducting interviews, usability tests, and gathering user feedback.
- Enthusiastic about healthcare technology and design innovation.
- Familiarity with frontend development frameworks (Vue.js, JavaScript) and backend technologies like Python, Terraform, Jenkins, Postgres, S3, Docker, ECS, and Fargate is a plus.
