1. Can perform activities, such as: Planning and Scheduling
Activities and Resources; Analysis (Methods and Measurements, Machines,
Maintenance and Materials); Design (Product, Process, Equipment, etc.); Project
Management and Control (Quality Control, Process Control, etc.)
2. Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Engineering Function
3. Insures the Consistent Application of Inspections and Tests. Reviews and Analyzes the Results of the Inspection Tests and Supervises the outcome of Products that are Not Accepted suppliers, components and products.
Coordinates with the Materials Reviewing Group: (MRB -Materials Review Board), Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Etc.) to determine the Disposal of Non-Conforming Material. Initiates the Request for Corrective Actions and Follows Up on the Resolution of Problems to Eliminate or Minimize Incoming Inspections, suppliers, components and products.

Supervises and Participates in the Development and the Initiation of the Techniques for Inspection, Testing and Evaluation of Incoming Materials. Evaluates Techniques and Recommends Changes. Works with Production, Quality, Materials and other Departments to define the Procedures and Quality Standards
5. Supervises the Development and Maintenance of manual and computerized Databases of Purchased items to provide information and trends related to Quality, Costs and Competitive Services.
Experiência y requisitos
Education: Engineering degree
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in medical products and/or manufacturing systems
Trained as a Lead Auditor in either ISO/QS or FDA. - ASQ Certification as a Quality Engineer is Desirable
Bilingual: 90% written and spoken
