**About The Role**:
The **Promotion Specialist** develop and coordinate all of promotional events at the point of sale to ensure we get our products off the shelf and into the home of our consumers, by:
- Working with Customer Marketing to develop point of sale activities which are based onshopper, RE/ channel and brand insights and stimulate demand at shelf.
- Ensuring excellence in execution.
- Evaluating performance to improve understanding of the impact of point of purchase demand drivers.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Lead Promotions Committee to ensure strategic consistency
- Work with our selected POS agencies to deliver innovative, creative and ultimately workable POS ideas for supporting brand objectives in store.
- Develop ideas for channel/RE or account-specific events which meet specific business and region/account needs and ensure its specifics are considered in the suggested POS solutions.
- Develop relationships with the appropriate contacts in the retailers to maximise the POS opportunity.
- Ensure regular meetings are held with Regional Managers and Team Leaders, agencies and in store contacts to keep everyone up to date with developments, and that latest brand and retailer requirements are being considered.
- Develop and evolve the appropriate supporting processes.




- Play a supporting role in setting the annual POS objectives and budgets. Supervise the same ongoing.
- Work with the Merchandising Managers to deliver against any in store fixture design initiatives.
- Review promotion proposal with Consumer Marketing to get buy-in
- Support Field Sales in negotiation of promotions
- Personally check execution of promotions in the field
- Work with RE Specialist to complete Promo-power evaluation and add qualitative comments, feeding back results to Channel Development Mgr and Field Sales
- Maintain a grid of all planned Special Events
- Coordinate rollout of POP materials Shopper Insights
- Work with Consumer Insights to build up understanding of consumer likes, dislikes, and perceptions of different types of promotions
- Annually, hold focus groups to screen a number of promotional ideas
**Competitive Activity**
- Supervise competitive activity and feed back to Customer Marketing and Field Sales Management
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related fields.
- At least +2 years of experience in positions as POS Specialist, Customer Development Executive, Area Manager or related
- Intermediate English level
- Excel/Sheets proficiency
- Data Driven
- Google Suite proficiency
- Acrobat/Adobe management
